Italian Baby

An Italian is drinking in a New York bar when he gets a call on his cell
phone. He hangs up, grinning from ear to ear, and orders a round of drinks
for everybody in the bar announcing his wife had produced a typical Italian
baby boy weighing 25 pounds.

Nobody can believe that any new baby can weigh in at 25 pounds, but the
Italian guy just shrugs, "That's about average back home, folks......like I
said, my boy's a typical Italian bambino"

Congratulations showered him from all around, and many exclamations of
"WOW"....one woman actually fainted due to sympathy pains.

Two weeks later he returns to the bar. The bartender says, "Say you're the
father of that typical Italian baby that weighed 25 pounds at birth.
Everybody's been making bets about how big he'd be in two weeks. So how
much does he weigh now?

The proud father answers, "Seventeen pounds."

The bartender is puzzled, concerned, and a little suspicious.
"What happened? He already weighed 25 pounds the day he was born!"

The Italian father takes a long swig of Sambuca, wipes his lips on his
shirt sleeve, leans into the bartender and proudly says.....

"We had him circumcised".........

"Hello?"
"Hi honey, this is Daddy, Is Mommy near the phone?"
"No Daddy, She's upstairs in the bedroom with Uncle
Mike "

After a brief pause, Daddy says, "But honey, you
haven't got an Uncle Mike "

"Oh yes I do, and he's upstairs in the room with
Mommy, right now"

Brief Pause

"Uh, okay then, this is what I want you to do. Put the
phone down on the table, run upstairs and knock on the
bedroom door, and shout to Mommy that "Daddy's car
just pulled into the driveway"

"Okay Daddy, just a minute"

A few minutes later the little girl comes back to the
phone.

"I did it Daddy"
"And what happened honey?" he asked
"Well, Mommy got all scared, jumped out of bed with no
clothes on and ran around screaming! Then she tripped
over the rug, hit her head on the dresser and now she
isn't moving at all!"

"Oh my God!!! What about your Uncle Mike?"
"He jumped out of the bed with no clothes on too. He
was all scared and he jumped out of the back window
and into the swimming pool. But I guess he didn't know
that you took out the water last week to clean it. He
hit the bottom of the pool and I think he's dead"

Then Daddy says, "Swimming pool?... Is this 486-5731 ???"

The only way to pull off a Sunday afternoon quickie with their
8 year old son in the apartment was to send him out on
the balcony with a Popsicle and tell him to report on all
the neighborhood activities.
He began his commentary as his parents put their
plan into operation:
"There's a car being towed from the parking lot",
he shouted.
A few moments passed ... "An ambulance just drove by"
A few moments later,
"Looks like theAnderson's have company", he called out.
"Matt's riding a new bike....."
A few moments later,
'Looks like the Sanders are moving"
"Jason is on his skate board...."
